Roderik Six

Roderik Six (1979) is a novelist and a literary journalist. His debut novel Vloed (Flood) was a sensation in the lowlands and was awarded the Bronzen Uil for the best Dutch-language debut. In 2014, The Book Doctor was published, a much-praised collaboration with his sadly deceased colleague and friend Thomas Blondeau. For his second novel Val (Fall), he received the Triennial Proza Prize from the province of West Flanders.

Roderik Six lives and works in Ghent. He spent a year on the Caribbean islands, where he wrote for an English-language newspaper, and got the inspiration for his dark dystopian novel Volt, invoking the works of J.G. Ballard and Huxley. His stories and reports have appeared in countless magazines at home and abroad.

His novella Monster was published in 2021 and Roderik is currently writing his next novel .

I have been Roderik’s manager since 2019.
